Mayan Fusion Restaurant in Fort Bragg, CA is NANCY APPROVED!

The husband and I made a road trip from Los Angeles to Oregon for the holiday. For our return, we decided to take the leisurely and more scenic routes of Highways 101 and 1, which landed us on the Mendocino Coast for a night.

After a long day of driving, we arrived Fort Bragg in the early evening looking for some good eats! The husband caught the sign for Mayan Fusion so we popped in on New Years Eve hoping they could accommodate the two of us. The staff welcomed us with a warm smile and while the restaurant was filled with the locals, they quickly sat us at a cozy window-side table.

In addition to the friendly service that we experienced from beginning to end, the food is absolutely some of the best I’ve had. It is fresh, full of flavor and clearly created by a chef that has a deep passion to create. The husband had fish tacos and I had the fresh rock cod – both were absolutely heavenly. The meal was topped off with their homemade flan and tres leches cake…again the BEST I’ve ever experienced!

We left with our stomachs full, smiles on our faces and thrilled we found such a gem in this quaint town.

If you happen to be in the area, I highly recommend you stop by Mayan Fusion to enjoy what will be a tantalizing experience that your taste-buds will never forget!
